Welcome to the life of Almund Penny
A tale of historical fantasy, were sorcery abounds, at sixteen he has not trained as either monk nor warrior but is very aware that there is much more this world than life in his village. Left in the care of monks after his mother’s death and his fathers leaving, swearing to return, but that was many years before. He knows his parents had a gift; suppressed, hidden; he knows it is within him he needs a book that all say has been lost. He is sure it is out there, somewhere!
The beginning
After a chance encounter by the banks of the river Medway, Almund is lead he knows not by who or why to an abandoned temple, his search has begun, unleashing a chain of events that would change his life forever.
He could not return to his village, so journeyed to Rochester, in pursuit of hidden knowledge.
